Orgiaglia: the country holiday where to regenerate oneself, re-discover friendship, the good laugh, relax and the pleasure of setting apart from the everyday-life, in its suggestive atmosphere.

The rooms finely fornitured have a beautiful view over the country; all ensuit with shower, minifridge.They are situated firstfloor in the Villa, and groundfloor in the Casetta with independent entrance and gardens.

At the fire place in the restaurant “il cenacolo” or under the pure starry sky you will taste local and farm’s specialities as porcini mushrooms, wild board cinghiale all’Etrusca, pecorino cheese, seasonal vegetables, bruschetta, Fiorentine steaks, and tasty  grilled meat on oak’s  embers, Chianti, served at the nice long table

In the farm where our family lives there is also Olimpia the little dog, Sangrillà the horse and his friends, the chickens, and our sweet cats.

The farm produces in its press an excellent oil extra- vergine d’oliva from organic (bio)  agriculture, and we organize oil tasting and guided tours to the cultivations and to the machinery.

Tenuta Orgiaglia is a wonderful “oasis” of 100 hectares at the guests’ disposal organically cultivated with olive trees and sunflowers, at the doors of the Parco Naturale di Berignone in the strategic position between Volterra and San Gimignano-30 minuts-, 45’ to Siena, 1 h to Firenze and to the seaside at Cecina.

…3000  olive trees hug the ancient country house, where Franco e Umberta  for 18 years offer warm hospitality, Chianti  and good typical Tuscan recipes.
