The Cesani farmhouse is located in the Tuscan hills , just 6 kms from San Gimignano and 20 kms from Siena, in one of the most beautiful and fascinating areas of the Tuscany.

For over 15 years our family has offered hospitality to its guests and recently we have restored some old buildings (former cowshed and hayloft) obtaining some very beautiful and comfortable lodgings.
Our agriturism gives you the possibilty to choose the solution most suitable for your needs from our vast assortment of lodgings: singles, doubles and apartments.
The rooms and apartments are in three different buildings adjacent to each other.

During your stay at our farmhouse you can enjoy peace and quiet, sitting in the garden or by the swimming pool or you can immerse yourselves totally in the characteristics of our agriturism by visiting the cellars and tasting our wines and oil.

The Cesani Farmouse is a pleasant option for those who are interested in passing a quiet relaxing holiday in contact with nature and history.

Only 6 Km far from the center of San Gimignano, in Pancole, immersed in the Tuscan countryside there's Cesani agristurism.
Pancole is a small village well known in all the Tuscany for a Vergin Mary's apparition to a deaf-mute girl. In that place they immediately built a church made of pilgrim's stones.
During the World War Second, the german army distroided the church with a bomb, but miraculously a fresco of the Virgin Mary and the Child saved hisself.
A the end of the war they rebuilt the church, the same we can admire today.
Pancole is only one of the historical places nearest the Cesani agriturism. In fact the farm house is in a very central position and driving only few minutes it's possible to arrive in a lot of historical and artistic towns for exmaple:

Certaldo: is 6 Km away. The ancient center preservs its unchenged medieval aspect with Palazzo Pretorio with its vicar's trademarks and the Boccaccio's house.
Colle Val d'Elsa: is 12 Km away. The highest part is very attractive and there are many crystal artisan shops.
Casole d'Elsa: is 20 Km away. Due to the wonderful position there's a beatiful view on the countryside.
Monteriggioni: is 25 Km away. This small village, with a boundary and the bell-tower in the square, give to the visitors the impression of stepping into the past.
Volterra: is 30 Km away. The town is reach of Etruscan and Roman remains. Interesting is the visit to the Roman theater, the Gallery of Art and the etruscan Museum "Guarnacci". Wonderful is the view of the Tuscany's hills.
Siena: is 30 Km away.

Exit POGGIBONSI NORTH
Follow the traffic-sign for San Gimignano (12 Km)
At San Gimignano follow the traffic-signs for CERTALDO
A the end of San Gimignano turn left for PANCOLE (6 Km far)
In Pancole go straight on 800mt
On your right side there's CESANI FARM

Exit VALDICHIANA
Follow traffic-signs for SIENA
At Siena take speedway Firenze- Siena direction FIRENZE
Exit POGGIBONSI NORD
Follow traffic-signs for San Gimignano
At San Gimignano Follow signboards for Certaldo
A the end of San Gimignano turn left for PANCOLE (6 Km far)
In Pancole go straight on 800 meters
On your right side there's CESANI FARM

Arrive to CERTALDO

How to book: After the reservation you have to pay, through bank transfer, an account of 30% of the total amount. At your arrival you'll pay the rest and give bail of euro 150,00 as a guarantee for damages; a the end of your stay we'll give you back the bail. You can recess before 30 days before of your arrival.

Double-rooms: The Cesani family offer finely restored double rooms located in the buildings adjacent to the cellars. The rooms have a double bed , bathroom with shower and independent heating. Most of the rooms have a beautiful view of the Tuscan countryside and the famous towers of San Gimignano. The rooms on the first floor all have wooden beamed ceilings.

Triple Room: This is the perfect accomodation for those travelling with children or friends! To call it a triple is too simplistic, in fact we prefer to define it as a "Suite for three people". It is in fact like a small apartment, without the kitchen: there is a double room, a single and a bathroom with shower. Both bedrooms have satellite TV, wooden beamed ceilings and the double has a beautiful view of the landscape from the window .

Single Room: This room is located on the ground floor. This is a room also suitable for handicapped guests as the bathroom is equipped for all such special necessities according to legal requirements. It is also possible to use an elevator from this room. The room is composed of a French size bed (very large single), satellite TV, bathroom with shower and independent heating. From the French window there is access to a small, secluded terrace, guaranteeing privacy.

Apartament: The apartment is located on the side of the owner's house and it has an independent entrance. This kind of accomodation is perfect for those who are looking for something more than a simple room and prefer to stay in a real house. The apartment (approx 45 sqm / 135 sq feet) accomodates 2 to 4 people. Located on the first floor ( 5 steps ),it is made up of a spacious bedroom, bathroom with shower and bidet, storeroom, a living/dining room with sofa-bed and satellite TV and beyond a small archway is a very functional kitchen.
