The Residenza d'Arte is situated in the town of Torrita di Siena, a 14^th century village in stone a few kilometers from Siena, Pienza, Montepulciano, and Cortona. It rises majestically on a splendid hill surrounded by cypresses and age-old olive trees, which act as picture frames for the stupendous panorama. As soon as you cross the gate of this historic dwelling, you embark on an artistic and poetic experience that is a perfect fusion between the harmony of nature and the harmony of contemporary art, intelligently combined so as to make the Residenza d'Arte a unique place to stay. The reception desk is in a large and pleasant hall where old beams and stone walls vibrate in a moving dance together with numerous pictoral, sculptural, and design works of art. The shapes and the colors magically embrace the entire village within the interior atmospheres, the rooms, and the surrounding park. For everyone who loves to mix culture, relax and comfort, the Ancient Abode Residence of Art, situated in Torrita di Siena, one among of the most beautiful and meaningful medieval cities in Tuscany, are the ideal place for his splendid geographical position. Positioned between the Val D’Orcia and the Val di Chiana it offers a sort of natural heaven to the visitor. The sweetness of its hills invites to splendid excursions and for the one that is lover of the horseback riding to unforgettable walks through uncontaminated paths. To few Kms. of distance from the structure there is a center of horseback riding. The meaningful concentration of so many of the most important thermal basins, that allow to spend the stay in the agreeability in the comfort and in the relax of thermal cares. There is only the embarrassment of the choice among Chianciano Terme, Bagno Vignone, Rapolano Terme, Castiglion D’Orcia,  only to quote some of it. Who wanted instead to unite the curiosity to explore the territory, can have available archaeological sites and Medieval and Renaissance monuments, obviously not skipping the numerous and meaningful museums. With the car:   

From Florence or Roma : Take Autosole A1 tollway and Exit at “Val di Chiana” and follow signs for Torrita di Siena. When you come into Torrita di Siena, take the left fork in the road to Pienza, then go straight up hill towards the arched gateway into the town (not left). Turn right at the gate and go around the wall. Then turn sharp right at the sign “tutte le direzioni” and go downhill and turn left at the sign for “Residenza D’Arte”. Go uphill. At the top there is a wall and church in front of you. The entrance gate is on your left. Park and walk up around the wall and up the stairs to the front of the property. Reception is inside the second building on your left.

Included in the price: Included in the daily price of every room: the breakfast, the entry in the swimming pool far 5 kms. of distance, the heating, the daily cleaning of the room.  The change of the laundry of the bedroom and the bath costs Euro 14 per day.

On request: Is possible to ask some extra services: stages of painting, enogastronomic and cultural tour, massages in small area comfort and relax, bicycles, ecc....

To be paid on the spot: All the extra services have to directly be paid on the spot to the owner.
