Residence Casa Lama

Casa Lama (480 m. above sea-level) in a harmonious landscape surrounded by olive groves and vineyards, enjoy wonderful panoramic views over the valley of river Arno and the hillsides of the Chianti region far below. Our intent is offering a relaxing and comfortable holiday in a peaceful nature. Our house, set in the heart of the country, provides spacious green corners where to isolate from the rest of the world. Your children have space enough to play safety especially inside the equipped play ground.
There is a barbecue area where you can spend pleasant and appetizing evenings; our swimming pool is at your disposal all the day long. The rooms have private entrance, kitchen corner, refrigerator, comfortable beds, TV-SAT, bathroom and own space in the outside with garden furniture and sun chairs. There is a private parking and a washer available.

From here numerous hikes through the marked way of Club Alpino Italiano and suggestive excursion along the “Balze” (geological landscape characteristic for their similitude to the canyons). Above the “Balze” one can see beautiful middle age village as Loro Ciufenna, Castelfranco di Sopra, Pian di Scò and Reggello, through the Setteponti road one can admire castles, bell towers and Romanic Church that keeps precious frescos of Masaccio.

At 3 km there is the typical village of Castelfranco di Sopra, ancient middleage small town, where you can find restaurants, wine pub, tennis courts, bowling and tour to the Romanic Parish Church along the Setteponti road. In the neighbourghood Mini Golf, horse riding, lakes for fishing, cultural tours and shopping in the most famuse big stores of the italian fashion.

How to reach the bed and breakfast
By car following the motorway to Florence-Rome A-1.

Coming from north after the exit "Firenze Sud" leave the motorway at the exit "Incisa" (19 kms after). After the Exit turn right over the motorway and turn again right. Drive along a country-road that runs parallet to the motorway. Past the Villages of Matassino and Faella. After a short tunnel turn left toward Castelfranco.

Coming from south leave the motorway at the exit "Valdarno" (19 km after the exit "Arezzo"), drive along a country-road following the indication for "Castelfranco di Sopra".

Once at Castelfranco: drive along the main road that turn around the town following the indication “Lama” or “Pian di Scò”, drive for about 800 MT and then turn right after the first Bridge (with wood railing) still following the indication for "Lama". After less then 1 km turn right again at the cross (Lama is indicated) and proceed for about 2 km, where you will find on the left side a sign in wood to indicate CASA LAMA. Proceed for about 60 m to the parking.
