Villa Fioretti

The villa is surrounded by a big wonderful garden with pine and cedar trees, flowers and bushes, and is situated in the middle of the hill where the medieval and historical town of Poppi lies. The town, with his castle, the ancient library with original books dating up the 15th century, the San Fedele Abbey and the porched streets and alleys, is considered as one of the most typical medieval towns in Italy. Starting from a secondary gate of the villa, in a few minutes by feet walking in the green, you can reach the ancient town. On the opposite side, walking on a slope, in a few minutes there is Ponte a Poppi, dating up from 16th century, and still expanding. This lower part is full of nice and tipical shops. The villa is a typical building dating from the first years of the 20th century (about 1920), a typical house for holidays built by with love by florentine families, in the italian tradition of "villeggiatura", i.e. holidays spent in a villa with a wide garden. The building is divided into three levels and a very romantic and panoramic little tower on the top, where you can admire a really suggestive scenary all over the valley. At the ground floor, where you can enter directly from the garden, there is a lovely kitchen with a big fire where is possible to spend a really nice time with some friends or with the family, listening to the fire crackling or coocking some chestnuts... Then you have a bathroom with shower and a very big livingroom with fire where you can have fantastic dinners looking at the garden by the door-window. At the first floor there is another nice and sunny kitchen, a bathroom with a bath, and another big and smart living room: it has the colours of the sun, and it is really relaxing to see how its rays enter by the big windows at the sunset time; in this room is also possible to watch TV with satellite. Finally, at the second floor there are three bedrooms and another bathroom with bath. Each bedroom is really comfortable, big, sunny and with panoramical views on the valley.The house is well organized to hosts till 12 guests. In the garden, panoramical views, play and resting areas with rocking sofa, birds singing, table tennis and barbecue.

The villa is very big and comfortable.It lays in a wonderful garden and is divided into 4 floors (the fourth,in particular,is a marvellous small tower with a double bed and a very suggestive wiew on the whole valley). The villa is well organizad to host many people, it has three big fire places and two fully organized kitchens, in order to have nice dinners inside or in the garden.
The villa has two wonderful matrimonial bedrooms at its disposal on the second floor, and a delicious double bedroom, while at the ground floor there is another bedroom but with a very comfortable sofa-bed; and lastly there is a marvellous little tower for two people, with a 180° scenary of the whole Casentino Valley and where the stars as well as the moon will be the wall all around you.
The sofa-beds are disposed in the bedrooms in order to use the rooms very comfortably, even in the day hours.
Finally, in the two matrimonial rooms on the second floor two single beds can easily be added, without changing their disposition and space.

Both the town and the surroundigs offer sport and resting areas; less than one hundred meters far, hidden in the green, four tennis fields; one Km far, a swimming pool and Bowling; two Km far a nine holes Golf Club, with reastaurant and bar services. How to reach the bed and breakfast
From A1 Highway, exit Arezzo, following the connection to Arezzo (8 Km about) until the junction with SS 71 Umbro Casentinese, heading Bibbiena-Stia, to go for 30 Km about, until Bibbiena; from the lower part of Bibbiena, turn left for 6 Km of SS 70 until Ponte a Poppi, follow the street climbing to the medieval city, cross it and go down for half a Km, turning at the first street on the left. Distances: Roma, 250 Km, Firenze 60 Km, Arezzo 42. 110 Km far you will find the Adriatic Sea (Rimini, Riccione)
